Are You Keeping Your Barriers Up?

What would happen if you did not?

Are you aware of your barriers? We all have them and of course they serve us in given situations. But, there is this “but”;
If we are constantly having our barriers up how can people we interact with really see us?
For what we are?
Who we are?
And how much do we limit our chances of receiving from other people?
Or truly see who they are?
My strong belief is that it would serve us well to actively check in with ourselves energetically and adjust our barriers according to the situation you are in.
When our barriers are up there are usually tensions that can be felt in our bodies. Here’s a tip for you — and please believe it can be that simple:
All that is needed to shift that is to take a deep breath and consciously push your barriers down while releasing your breath.
You may feel like repeating it. And also on the out breath enforcing it by slowly pushing your hand down (open palms facing the floor).
Trust and the willingness to be vulnerable will play roles here and just to be clear: I am not suggesting you should have your barriers completely down at all times.
Hopefully you— like me — will experience more space and ease. And with practice all you have to do is energetically check and decide that the barrier is lowered.
It gets to be easy. If you choose it to be.
