Happylist
Do you have one?

Do you have one?
If not, maybe you should.
Not necessarily an actual list. More an awareness of what makes you happy.
That creates MOMENTS of happiness.
Things, places, activities, people that allow you to feel relaxed, make you breathe more deeply, clear your mind.
I’ll let you in on a current happylist of mine in the hopes that it will trigger you to start our own.
Did you notice I wrote “current”?
The thing with a happylist is to e.g. every Saturday take stock of all the little things that has made you feel relaxed and happy. Which next Saturday are most probably different things.
By doing this you train yourself to be more aware of all the beauty in your life. To notice that it is not always the big things or happenings that invoke the feeling of happiness.
Also, happiness in this context is closely connected to gratitude. A powerful combination that cannot help but raise your vibration and wash away stress and worry.
Here are a few things from my happylist this week:
A short evening walk with my dog. Just her and me. And the stars
Enjoying the morning stillness
Having a coffee date with myself. In my favorite coffee shop
Watching the most amazing skies on my way to work
Waking up to my cat purring on my lap
Opening a brand new notebook to journal in
Noticing how a genuine smile has a positive effect
Buying myself the most colorful flowers
See? All small things. That we perhaps tend not to notice and appreciate.
Keeping a happylist — weekly, daily, whichever way works best for you — is a great help to appreciate the moments in our everyday lives. To be present. To be in the NOW as opposed to be stuck in the past or chasing the future.
Things, places, activities, people that allow you to feel relaxed, make you breathe more deeply, clear your mind. Make you realize how grateful you are to be here. NOW.
Till next time,
Make it about ease and JOY!
