I Have No Clue What I Am Doing
That’s what hit me when out driving today.

That’s what hit me when out driving today.
Totally out of the blue:
I have no clue what I am doing!
Next, I wondered: How many people out there actually know exactly what they are doing?
My guess is not that many.
And: Does it really matter?
Isn’t the most important thing that we actually do something?
Do something with what we believe in, what we feel drawn to say, write, contribute?
I write the odd piece here on Medium. I am about to start blogging again when I get my new site up. I aim to start my newsletter.
I have the framework ready for a couple of online courses I’ll be wanting to offer. I am contemplating creating some sort of membership. Lots of ideas pouring in.
And: I have no clue what I am doing!
But then there’s this tug…. Something from within. Messages that ask to be communicated in some way, shape or form.
And this “something” has been there for so long that I actually have come to terms with the fact that — at some level — I consider myself a messenger.
Sounds pretentious? Was that your first thought? It sure was mine, but what I said to myself was this:
We are all messengers in one way or another. That does not mean we are perfect. No one has all their sh*t together. Some may pretend they have, but do not let that fool you.
I have something to say. I have something to contribute. I will make a difference. On some level.
And all of this is not specific to me. We ALL have something to say. To contribute. All of us make a difference.
We make a difference simply by being our true selves
As long as we show up and do what it takes.
Even if we have no clue what we are doing
After all; how on earth will be able to show up and get things done if we are to wait till we have all the answers to everything and always feel we know exactly what we are doing?
So, I’ll continue to do whatever I feel drawn to do, with no judgments about whether or not it is good, mediocre or worse.
I have no clue what I am doing. I don’t need to know.
Neither do you.
Let’s all just do what we feel drawn to. Knowing we make a difference in the process
Till next time;
Make it about ease and joy
(even if you don’t have a clue what you’re doing)
