We all know this, right?
That there is no such thing as “one size fits all”?
And still, that is how everything seems to have been orchestrated for the longest time. We have been molded over years to fit in with the “do-do-do” society and way of living.
To the degree even, that many measure their self worth based on how much they have done, how much they in any given time period are capable of doing. How productive and efficient they are.
Would you believe me if I said that for some people resting will often be one of the most productive things they can do?
For some strange reason - or not so strange perhaps - you could possibly be seen as a nutcase if you suggested this as a regular practice. You know: “So much to do. So much to accomplish. Onwards and upwards”
Go, go, go. Do, do, do.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this! Quite a few people are energetically hardwired to do. A lot even. Sometimes all day long.
Let’s be grateful for this. After all, where would we be if not for the workerbees of this world?
My issue here is, of course, that not everyone is wired this way. And quite frankly, I believe that a lot of the burnout out there isn’t necessarily due to overworking and doing too much as such. But more about HOW you do what you do (I have more to say on burnout, but that is for another day)
This leads me to “The Science of Differentiation” which is what Human Design is often referred to as. One of my areas of passion, because of it’s potential to lead people back to how they are energetically hardwired to function to be able to live authentically and sustainably.
It allows you to remember who you were before the world told you who you should be.
In Human Design there are 5 different “types”. In the following I will refer to them with both the traditional Human Design name and in brackets the Quantum Human Design™ name. Read more about this on my website.
Let me give you an analogy to give you a glimpse of the difference between the 5 types. Someone should be credited for this, but sadly I cannot remember where I heard or read this a few years ago.
Pointing you to the image in this post, let’s talk about an orchestra and a concert:
Someone comes up with an idea about setting up a concert. That someone is the Manifestor (the Initiator). He/she is the creative force that gets things going. Not here to do the work, just to get it started. To initiate.
Musicians, we need musicians. A lot of them to fill a symphony orchestra. In other words, we need the doers. The performers. So who better to fill the places of those who will actually play than the Generators and Manifesting Generators (the Alchemists and the Time Benders).
Now we need someone to guide, lead, distribute tasks and to hold the general big picture about where this concert will be going. Who better to fill the role of the conductor than the Projector (the Orchestrator)?
Last, without an audience there wouldn’t really be a concert, right? That is where the Reflector (the Calibrator) comes in. Their role in this setting is to mirror the music and their experience of the concert back to the conductor (the guide) and the musicians (the doers)
You see? We cannot be without any of us. This is how wise this is all set up. We ALL come here with an energetic blueprint which can tell you A WHOLE LOT about who and how you came here to be.
Which would make letting go of the fitting in to a norm that is perhaps not made for you a lot easier. To set you free to play the role you came here to play and contribute your strengths and wisdom YOUR way.
A sidenote: How would knowing a bit about other people’s Human Design blueprint be beneficial when setting up teams for work, collaborations, projects…..?
So, do you know which Human Design type you are? Tell me in the comments!
Or: if you do not know you can download your free chart here.
Two options for learning a little more: 4-part free email course here. Or: A pdf with a short description of the types and their auras here.
If interested, I will create a "synopsis” of your type, strategy, authority, profile and some more. You can get it here
Should you want a more in-depth report about YOUR design, there are a few on the page you get to when downloading your chart. Some free. Some paid.
All of this is for you to experiment with should you wish to. Because that is what Human Design is about. To experiment with and to grow into parts of you that you perhaps have forgotten. To create aha’s, epihanies, insights and awarenesses about what is possible for you.
Questions, complaints or compliments? Drop them in the comment section.
I hope our paths cross again and thank you for BEing YOU!
